Condoms with nicotine-infused lubricant? Why not? Most smoking-cessation devices just aren’t cool ... you have to wear a huge patch, chew nasty-tasting gum, or puff on electronic vapor cigarettes. Too, the after-sex cigarette is hardly romantic to a non-smoking partner. But, a new condom, coated with nicotine-infused lubricant, may provide your daily cigarette and sex fix, while helping to kick the nasty habits of smoking and having unprotected sex.

Reportedly, the Swedish company, Pharmacia Latex Aktiebolaget, will produce the “Hooker NRT” condom, to be distributed in the U.S. by Hotlogo.com (aka CustomCondoms.biz), beginning in 2011. The distributor claims the nicotine in the lube coating is absorbed through the skin, giving the wearer more energy during sex.

Real or not, the idea of infusing stimulants into lube raises a number of questions. What if neither party smokes ... will they become addicted to having sex? Will users become hooked on this specific brand of condoms?
