FDA announces remaining retailer compliance training sessions

The FDA Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) will hold the remaining four of five training sessions on federal tobacco regulations in September in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles.
The CTP encourages retailers who sell tobacco to attend in person or participate by phone or by webcast.
Locations and dates for the remaining sessions include:

Atlanta; Sept. 1, 2010; 1 to 5 p.m. EDT

Chicago; Sept. 8, 2010; 1 to 5 p.m. CDT

Dallas; Sept. 22, 2010; 1 to 5 p.m. CDT
-
Los Angeles; Sept. 29, 2010; 1 to 5 p.m. PDT
There is no charge to attend any of these sessions.
According to the CTP, the discussion topics will include:

Who is subject to the regulation

What tobacco products are regulated

Prohibition of sale to persons younger then 18 years of age

Self-service displays and vending machines

Minimum cigarette and smokeless tobacco package sizes
